Regina Chinsio-Kwong, DO

Medical Director, St. Joseph Hoag Health Wellness Corners

As the Wellness Corners’ medical director, I oversee clinical services at our seven sites and work closely with our teams of physicians, nurse practitioners and other care providers.

As a physician dedicated to whole-person care, I strongly believe food should be a prescription for a healthier life. I recently had the opportunity to share that message on morning television when I was a guest on Good Day LA with Steve Edwards. I’ve also been featured in numerous stories on HealthCalling, offering my thoughts aboutswapping nutrient-dense ingredients into favorite dishes, getting the most out of vitamins and the benefits of acupuncture.

Like the rest of our Wellness Corner teams, I’m passionate about helping people make healthier choices in their everyday lives and providing holistic, personalized care for the whole you – mind, body and spirit. I’m a board-certified family medicine physician with an expertise in integrative and functional medicine. I began my practice after serving in the U.S. Navy where I was an attending family medicine physician at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton for three years.

Today, I develop integrative and functional medicine practices at the Wellness Corners and provide care for patients at the Wellness Corner at The Village in Irvine. I earned my medical degree from Western University College of Osteopathic Medicine and am an American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine diplomat.
